The best time to visit Puerto Vallarta depends on what you’re looking for. The peak season runs from November to April, offering perfect weather with sunny days, low humidity, and almost no rain. This is also when the city is most vibrant, with plenty of events, concerts, and nightlife. Whale-watching season takes place from December to March, making it a great time for nature lovers. However, this is also the busiest and most expensive period, with higher prices for hotels and flights.

The shoulder seasons in May-June and October offer fewer crowds and lower prices while still providing good weather. The temperatures start warming up, but it remains pleasant, and the surrounding jungle is lush from summer rains.
