Event Name

Include up to eight words. Do not use ALL CAPS or the event location here.

Short Description

Include up to 25 words about your event. This will be shown when the viewer hovers over the details icon.

Day & Time

Enter your start date/time and end date/time. If your event is recurring, check the “Repeating” box. If you are unfamiliar with the different repeating options, we recommend choosing “Custom Days” and entering each of the days your event occurs.

It appears next to the event time on the Single Event Page. You can enter notes such as the timezone name in this field.

Add certain days to event occurrences. If you have a single day event, start and end dates should be the same, If you have a multiple day event, the start and end dates must match the initial date. Read More

Select your image measuring at least 335 pixels in width and 400 pixels in height. Try to keep the focal point of your image in the center. 


If you would like the viewer to be sent directly to the event page on your website, ticketing website or Facebook Event page, enter the link in the “Direct Link” box. Your linked page must include complete details about your event. No generic event pages or homepages allowed.

If you prefer the viewer is shown more details about your event on Vallarta Calendar, do not enter a link in the “Direct Link” box. Instead, include your external link in the “Page Link” box. This will allow a full event page on Vallarta Calendar to be shown. The Vallarta Calendar page will include your external link.

Full Description

This section is required if you would like the viewer to see a complete event page on Vallarta Mirror or if you do not have an external event page. Viewers will not see this page if you have included a “Direct Link” in the previous section.

The “Visual” tab will allow you to customize your listing with text styles (bold, italics), lists, links and more.


Select up to three categories for your event. Be sure that all categories chosen are appropriate.



Select event location. If you do not see your location, please include the location (with complete address) in the next “Note to Reviewer” section.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will my event appear online?

All event submissions will be reviewed within 48 business hours. If you do not see a response, check your spam box.

Do I need to complete every field on this form?

No. Only fields marked with * are required.

My website includes all of the details of my event. Do I need to include this information in my listing?

No. If you website includes full details about your event, you do not need to enter this information. Include a link to the event (not your homepage) in the “Event Listing” box. This will direct readers to your site instead of a description page.

Can I create an event page and have a link to my event?

Yes. Do not include a link in the “Event Listing” box. Instead, include the link in the description of the event. You can create a link by highlighting your web address and clicking the “Insert/edit link” button.

Can I choose more than one category for my event?

Yes, you may choose up to three categories. However, be sure each category is appropriate for your event. All event submissions are subject to review and edit.

My location is not listed in the “Event Main Location” box. What do I do?

Select “Insert a new location” from the drop-down list to add your location. All fields in this section are optional.

What size of image do you recommend for my listing?

Vallarta Mirror publishes square images. An image with a minimum size of 350 by 350 pixels is recommended. Vertical or horizontal images will be cropped to the appropriate size.

My event listing has been published, and I would like to make a change. What should I do?

Refer to the email you received after you event was published. It includes information on how to revise your event.
