This week’s featured performer is the extraordinary Angeloo, an 12-year-old singing sensation from Puerto Vallarta.

Angeloo—whose full name is Angel Gerardo Covarrubias Cabrera—began his musical journey at just five years old, teaching himself to sing “Love Scenario” by iKon in Korean. After a brief detour into taekwondo, he returned to music at age nine, performing on buses with his father before making a name for himself on stages like Incanto, La Catrina Cantina, and Nacho Daddy. His powerful voice and diverse repertoire span opera, R&B, Motown, rock, country, and more, performed in multiple languages.

A winner of the 2024 So You Think You Can Rise? competition, Angeloo is quickly becoming a local favorite. He recently released his debut single, “Superstar,” available on all major platforms.
