The Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Puerto Vallarta, built between 1930 and 1940, honors Mexico’s patron saint. English and bilingual Masses are held weekly. Her feast day, December 12, features flowers, candles, fireworks, and rosaries, commemorating her 1531 apparition and lasting impact on Mexican faith and identity.
The Malecón is a mile-long esplanade in Puerto Vallarta’s Centro and Zona Romántica. Built in the 1930s, it was rebuilt after Hurricane Kenna in 2002, featuring a wider walkway.
