About the Play
Middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia live in the family home, mourning their lost dreams and missed opportunities. When their often-wrong, fortune-telling maid warns of impending dangers, and their movie star sister, Masha, arrives unexpectedly with young, sexy, dimwitted boy toy, Spike, the family is launched into a rollicking weekend of one-upmanship, exposed nerves, a lot of broken mugs, and an invitation to attend a costume party and insists that her friends and family dress as characters from Disney’s animated Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs . With wit and absurdity, Christopher Durang’s play blends ennui with the modern-day toils and troubles of celebrity, social networking, and age into a laugh-out-loud comedy that will tickle your funny bone and stimulate your mind.

There is a diverse ensemble theater in Puerto Vallarta showcasing local talent in full-length plays: Teatro Sin Borders. The theater consists of local and international actors, directors, stage managers, sound and light crew and volunteers with diverse backgrounds who believe in making theater accessible for everyone.
