1920’s Jazz Age Lecture
A presentation describing the development of jazz from New Orleans through major US cities and on to international acclaim. Musicians that will be discussed, with original recordings and photos, include Louis Armstrong, King Oliver, Jelly Roll Morton, Bix Beiderbecke, Benny Goodman, Sidney Bechet, Django Reinhardt and others. All are welcome to an evening of Traditional Jazz History with pleasant music. Presented by David Lightstone.
The lecture will be 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes for Q&A.
