Artist Spotlight: Montse 🎤 💃 🎭

Montse is an artist who has been immersed in the arts since birth. Born and raised in Mexico City until the age of 13, she later moved to Puerto Vallarta. Her passion for music runs deep, as she is the granddaughter of the renowned Mexican musician Raúl Díaz, known as “El Mago del Salterio.” Although they never met, their connection through music remains strong.

Montse’s love for dancing, singing, and acting has always been central to her life. She participated in every school production and show available. After briefly stepping away from the arts to meet familial expectations, she studied Interior Architecture but soon realized her true calling was in performance. Overcoming depression and anxiety, she chose to follow her passion wholeheartedly, dedicating herself to developing her craft through lessons and courses.

In 2019, she joined the Mexican production “Distroller El Miusikul,” where she mastered six different roles in a dynamic family musical inspired by the popular brand Distroller. After the pandemic, Montse returned to Puerto Vallarta and began performing in several stage productions, including You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (as Lucy Van Pelt), The Rocky Horror Show (as Janet), and Divas: The Concert Experience, where she portrayed Lady Gaga and performed as a backup dancer for other artists.

In 2025, Montse began her latest project, Moonwalk—a spectacular new tribute celebrating the greatest hits of Michael Jackson. Leading with her powerhouse vocals, she joins The Mad Collective live band and an incredible dance team in this vibrant celebration of the King of Pop.
