Artist Spotlight: Wendy Warhol 👑 🎭


Wendy Warhol is a dynamic and influential drag queen known for her striking performances and artistic approach to drag. Taking inspiration from the legendary pop artist Andy Warhol, Wendy Warhol blends elements of art, fashion, and pop culture into her drag persona, creating a unique and visually captivating style. 

Wendy has made a significant impact in the drag community, first in Montreal where she’s originally from and now in Puerto Vallarta, where she is a celebrated figure in the local drag scene. She has headlined at popular venues, festivals and special events in Montreal, many other cities in Canada and the USA and of course, Puerto Vallarta contributing to its reputation as a premier destination for LGBTQ+ entertainment and keeps doing so several times a week all year long.

As a multidisciplinary artist, Wendy incorporates iconic imagery, a unique blend of humor and high-concept art into her drag, making her performances a true spectacle. Her ability to seamlessly blend different art forms has earned her recognition as the chameleon of drag in the community.

Beyond the stage, Wendy is deeply involved in the community advocating LGBTQ+ rights, mental health awareness, and artistic freedom. She regularly organizes events that encourage the sense of community, self-expression and creativity fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
