Charro Parade

The Charro Parade brings the city’s central streets to life with a traditional parade of men and women on horseback, showcasing vibrant colors and deep-rooted traditions.

Time: 10:30 a.m. (Start)

Starting Point:
Intersection of Lázaro Cárdenas and Aquiles Serdán streets.

Route:
1. Cross the Cuale River bridge heading north.
2. Continue along Morelos Street.
3. Turn onto Galeana Street near the lighthouse on the Malecón.
4. Proceed along the Malecón.
5. Head north on 31 de Octubre Street.
6. Conclude at República de Chile Street via Av. México.

Traffic Adjustments

Road Closures:

9:00 AM
Peru Street closed at Panama Street, affecting public transport routes into the downtown area.
Reroute: Public transit will be diverted north via Colombia Street, near the Panama intersection in the 5 de Diciembre neighborhood.

9:30 AM
Morelos Street closed at Corona Street.
Reroute: Traffic will be diverted to Juárez Street, which will temporarily allow two-way traffic.
Alternative Route: Drivers will turn left onto Agustín Rodríguez Street and then right onto Insurgentes Street, which will also support two-way traffic up to Venustiano Carranza Street.
