Artist Spotlight: Alfredo Mendoza 🎤
Alfredo Mendoza is a talented singer and performer originally from Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico who began his artistic career at the age of 17 in a local theater group, participating in three musical productions. At 20, he transitioned to singing in bars and cafés in his hometown. In 2008, he moved to Puerto Vallarta and continued to perform in restaurants in the Romantic Zone.
Alfredo’s career took a significant turn in 2012 when he joined Act2PV Theater’s inaugural production, A Chorus Line, where he played the role of Bobby. This opportunity paved the way for further involvement in the local entertainment scene. In 2013, he expanded his repertoire by joining versatile musical bands, performing in hotels and at private events throughout the bay area. He also made appearances with his band during the 2015 and 2016 seasons at Act2.
From 2013 to 2022, Alfredo continued to work with various musical bands, showcasing his versatility as a performer. In 2021, he returned to Act II productions with Jersey Boys at the invitation of Marc Lopez. Currently, Alfredo is a cast member of Best of Broadway and performs as part of the Latin Nights at Catrina Cantina on Saturdays, captivating audiences with his dynamic vocal talent and stage presence.
