On September 24th, starting at 9:00 PM, the bar is hosting a spectacular Bingo Night Fundraiser: Ode to the Oscars to support the Vallarta Gay+ Community Center. With fabulous queens Tia Gloria and Wendy Warhol as your hosts, this event promises an evening of fun, entertainment, and excitement, all while benefiting a great cause.
As Wendy Warhol herself puts it, “Stripped Down Bingo Extravaganza is not your grandma’s bingo!” Expect plenty of witty jokes, silly moments, and a twist that adds a little heat to the game—every time a bingo is called, a gogo boy (or two, in this case!) will shed a piece of clothing. For Owens, this cause is personal: “I’ve been involved in HIV and STI prevention since my brother Tim died of AIDS in 1995. I’m proud of the work we’re doing to expand testing, education, and prevention here in Vallarta.”
