For over 30 years, Dragapella! featuring The Kinsey Sicks has been serving up a dazzling mix of a cappella harmonies, sharp satire, and over-the-top drag. With performances in more than 40 U.S. states, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Australia, the group has become one of the most celebrated drag ensembles in the world. Their career highlights include an Off-Broadway hit at Studio 54, an extended Las Vegas run, two feature films, four concert DVDs, and eleven albums.
The Kinsey Sicks began in 1993 in San Francisco, dressing as the Andrews Sisters for a Bette Midler concert. That night, they discovered their shared musical talent, planting the seed for a legendary career of hilarious, boundary-pushing performances. From early shows like Sicks Appeal and The Balled Sopranos to modern hits like Electile Dysfunction and Things You Shouldn’t Say, the group has captivated audiences with wit, vocal prowess, and fearless drag.
In 2001, The Kinsey Sicks hit New York Off-Broadway to critical acclaim, earning Lucille Lortel and Drama Desk nominations. Their Las Vegas run in 2006 inspired the documentary Almost Infamous and cemented their reputation as “a feast for the eyes, the ears, and the funny bone.”
A pioneering force in Puerto Vallarta, The Kinsey Sicks have been delighting audiences there since at least 2003, performing at The Palm Cabaret, Club Mañana, Incanto, and Act2PV. Their long-standing presence helped establish PV as a hub for drag and live performance, making them one of the city’s most beloved and enduring acts.
Bold, hilarious, and musically unmatched, Dragapella! featuring The Kinsey Sicks continues to redefine drag entertainment—proving that humor, harmony, and glamour are truly timeless.
