Artist Spotlight: Elektra Heavenly

Elektra Heavenly was born and raised in a Puerto Rican home in South Jersey, where she grew up surrounded by music. She began singing at the age of three and was harmonizing by eight, developing her vocal foundation through years of performing in church. In 2005, she transitioned to singing in nightclubs and cabarets, embracing the stage as her calling.

In 2019, Elektra moved to Las Vegas and was warmly welcomed into the city’s vibrant music scene. She made guest appearances in shows hosted by Kelly Clinton and Kenny Davidsen’s Bowtie Cabaret, and shared the stage with celebrated artists such as America’s Got Talent winner Michael Grimm. Her powerful voice and undeniable presence earned her a historic distinction: she became the first transgender artist to headline a solo ticketed show in Las Vegas, fulfilling a long-held dream.

Since then, Elektra has continued to evolve and enchant audiences with her performances. She has lent her voice to background vocals for Linda Woodson and Melanie Moore at The Gatsby Supper Club and taken center stage at premier venues including Maxan Jazz Club, My Mother’s House, and The Dispensary Lounge. Her collaborations with top musicians such as John Belzaguy, Ramses Rodriguez, Bill Zappia, Uli Geissendoerfer, and Peppe Merolla have added richness to her shows.

In 2025, Elektra brought her talent to Puerto Vallarta, where she starred in Express Yourself alongside Alexis Mateo and Lalani Jackson Ross at Act2PV. That same season, she debuted her own show, Metamorphosis, further showcasing her vocal versatility, depth, and unique artistic vision. Elektra Heavenly’s journey is a testament to resilience, authenticity, and the power of music to transform and connect.
