Monti The Artist is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, producer, and human rights advocate whose empowering music blends R&B, Soul, Jazz, Blues, and Pop. Overcoming a turbulent past marked by homelessness and hardship, Monti (aka Lauren Silva) channels her experiences into heartfelt lyrics and soulful vocals. With a career spanning from a teenage record deal to sharing stages with Wu-Tang Clan and appearing in the film “Soul Surfer,” Monti’s music has garnered Emmy wins (via placements on shows like Lizzo’s “Watch Out for the Big Girls”), Hollywood Music in Media Awards, and placements on Netflix and Apple TV+. Through her music and her initiative, Hope Generations, Monti inspires hope and positive social impact. Now working with Selena Luna Productions, Monti is set to premiere her debut show since moving to Puerto Vallarta, “A Night With Monti The Artist: Legends of Soul, Rock & Blues,” at Act2PV on January 28th.
