DACB Celebrates PV Gay Pride – Matinee Screening “Bent” 🏳️‍🌈

…join us as we commemorate Pride Week! In conjunction with Vallarta Gay Pride 2025, we will host a special matinee showing of the movie Bent. Even as we celebrate how far we and much of the world have come toward acceptance and equality, let us never forget our past. We must never go back!

The film is an adaptation of Martin Sherman’s award-winning stage play of the same name. It remains a cautionary tale for our time. Synopsis: Max is gay and as such is sent to Dachau concentration camp under the Nazi regime. He tries to deny he is gay, and gets a yellow label (the one for Jews) instead of pink (the one for gays). In camp, he falls in love with fellow prisoner Horst, who wears his pink label with pride. 

We will be meeting at Nacho Daddy on May 20, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Basilio Badillo 287, Zona Romántica, Emiliano Zapata, 48380 Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, México.

Nacho Daddy is a full-service, original Mex-Tex concept in the heart of Emiliano Zapata. Their menu offers both a Mexican flair and Texas home favorites, along with some of the best margaritas in town! The full menu will be available to enjoy a snack or lunch during our event!
