The Night of the Garland (Spanish)

The Dionisio Theater Group commemorates its 12th anniversary with the staging of “The Night of the Garland”, in a special performance this Saturday, August 17, 7:00 p.m. at the Plataforma 322 cultural center (Alondra 103, Los Sauces).

“The Night of the Garland” is a work that weaves stories from the daily experiences of the inhabitants of Puerto Vallarta , inspired by contemporary events and whispered secrets that only the locals know.

What does it mean to inhabit this port beyond tourism? How are relationships, family, and economics configured for those who see waves of ships arriving and leaving constantly? Written by Samantha Dueñas, Juan Carlos Ramírez, and Juan Pablo Hernández, and with the dramatic treatment of Oz Jiménez, the play “La noche de la mancha” promises to offer an exciting mosaic of life in Puerto Vallarta .
