Enriching the city’s holiday calendar with a beloved cultural tradition, the Vallarta Institute of Culture (IVC) invites residents and visitors to experience La Noche del Gran Milagro (The Night of the Great Miracle). This classic Mexican Christmas pastorela was penned by Maestro Alberto Fabián Sahagún Orozco, an acclaimed playwright from Jalisco and recipient of the National Pastorela Award in 2003.

In 2025, this emblematic production marks three decades as one of Puerto Vallarta’s most treasured Christmas celebrations.

The Institute invites families and audiences of all ages to attend this theatrical presentation, which combines comedy, tradition, and a shared commitment by local authorities to keep the performing arts open and accessible to the community.
