ZZ Top Tribute “Rockin’ the House”

Formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas, rock trio ZZ Top is famous for its hard driving, blues tinged music, double entendre lyrics and “Santa Claus in sunglasses” look. The group features Billy Gibbons (guitar & vocals), Frank Beard (drums), and until his death in 2021, Dusty Hill (bass & vocals). By the time Hill was replaced by Elwood Francis, ZZ Top had been the longest performing rock band in history with no personnel changes. To date, ZZ Top has released 16 studio albums, sold more than 50 million records, won 3 MTV awards and been inducted into The Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame. They have toured throughout Europe and the Americas, attracting hundreds of thousands to their shows.

Christiaan Dahl is an accomplished singer and songwriter who plays guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, harmonica and clarinet. Besides being half of the ZZ Top tribute with brother Geoff, he is also half of their “Soul Brothers” tribute to The Blues Brothers and has been playing the role of Joe Cocker in the world famous “Stars In Concert” show in Berlin, Germany, since 2013. Besides playing harmonica to great effect in the Soul Brothers show, Geoff Dahl plays guitar, bass, piano and accordian and sings backup, an excellent complement to brother Chris. The Dahl brothers are a highly entertaining in-demand duo who perform all over the world in their own shows and as backing musicians for other entertainers at major concerts and festivals. They give new meaning to the word versatility.
