Artist Spotlight: Jacky López


Jacky López was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco. She began her musical journey at the age of 5, singing at school festivals, churches, and various events. Her early passion for music made her realize that she wanted to continue her musical training. At the age of 11, she started playing the guitar and joined the music workshop at Claustro de San Agustín (UDG University) to study music.

Jacky has been living in Puerto Vallarta for the past nine years, where she has been working professionally as a singer, guitarist, and performer. She regularly performs at various venues in the area, including hotels, restaurants, private events, weddings, and entertainment centers such as La Catrina Cantina and Rouge Theatre.

In addition to performing, Jacky López is also a singer-songwriter who enjoys writing her own songs, connecting with people’s experiences and emotions. She has performed tributes to Mexican music artists, including “La Quinta Estación,” and is soon to present a tribute to singer Jenny Rivera. Her passion for regional Mexican music serves as an inspiration for her new shows.

Jacky López is committed to continuing her musical education to offer shows that the public enjoys. Her energy and passion are undoubtedly fundamental to her performances.
