Artist Spotlight: Mau 🎤 🎹
Mau is a talented musician who arrived in Puerto Vallarta four years ago. He began performing at Incanto Vallarta alongside his sister, Eva, and together, they quickly built a strong reputation in the city’s music scene. After a couple of years of collaboration, the siblings chose to pursue their own musical paths.
With over 17 years in the music industry, Mau has a rich career that includes recording an album in Switzerland, performing with multiple original bands, and playing at various venues around the world.
As a solo artist, Mau launched his original music project, BESER, in 2019. Through BESER, he has released several singles available on Spotify and other music platforms, as well as various music videos on YouTube. This project has taken him to notable stages, including Sofar Sounds in Toronto and Zurich. In August, he brought his original music to Seattle’s historic Blue Moon venue, continuously finding new ways to share his passion for original compositions, which remain his top priority.
In addition to BESER, Mau is also presenting a Bruce Springsteen tribute show at Nacho Daddy, an endeavor that has greatly influenced his growth as an artist. This intimate, one-man show features Mau on guitar, piano, and vocals, capturing the essence of “The Boss” in a way that’s both unique and compelling. This distinctive Vallarta experience has been well-received and is a must-see for visitors.
