Artist Spotlight: Nick Rogers 🎤
Nick Rogers has been captivating audiences since the age of five, performing in musicals, plays, cabarets, concerts, festivals, and private events. Influenced by classic musicals, contemporary Christian music, and pop, his rich baritone voice effortlessly blends Broadway and classical tones with contemporary nuances. For those who say that musicals are unrealistic because people don’t just break out into song, they haven’t met Nick.
Originally from Rochester, New York, Nick relocated to Puerto Vallarta in the fall of 2022 to join its vibrant artistic community. His first solo show in Puerto Vallarta, From The Heart: My Road To Vallarta, debuted at Incanto and was followed by That’s What She Said: Broadway Diva Power Ballads, which later moved to Act2PV Theater. Last season, he produced and starred in Mash It Up: Express Yourself at Act2PV. His performances have also graced venues like Garbo’s, Casa Cupula, and Hotel Mercurio.
Nick’s favorite roles include Clopin in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (regional premiere), Charles Guiteau in Assassins, J. Bruce Ismay in Titanic, Uncle Ernie in The Who’s Tommy, and Mr. Peachum in The Threepenny Opera. Additional credits include A New Brain, Sunset Boulevard, Violet, Parade, Jacques Brel, Gorey Stories, The Sound of Music, Carousel, South Pacific, and more.
Nick invites you to the premiere of his new show, You Raise Me Up: The Music Of Josh Groban, at The Palm Cabaret on November 14th.
