User: Add Event

This page is intended for users with a login and password. If you do not have this, click here to add an event.

IMPORTANT! You must be logged in to save information to your account. If you have not logged in, click here and log in BEFORE you enter or edit an event.

For best results, this page should be viewed on a computer.

Shortcuts After Adding an Event: Add New Event, Edit Event

Before submitting an event, please search Vallarta Calendar to determine if your event is included.

Please submit your event in English. Readers will have the ability to translate to Spanish with the “Translate Calendar” feature. If you need help with translation, visit Google Translate.

Event Name

Include up to eight words. Do not use ALL CAPS or the event location here.

Full Description

Add the full description for your event.

The “Visual” tab will allow you to customize your listing with text styles (bold, italics), lists, links and more.

Day & Time

Enter your start date/time and end date/time. If your event is recurring, check the “Repeating” box. If you are unfamiliar with the different repeating options, we recommend choosing “Custom Days” and entering each of the days your event occurs.

Add certain days to event occurrences. If you have a single day event, start and end dates should be the same, If you have a multiple day event, the start and end dates must match the initial date. Read More

Select your image measuring at least 335 pixels in width and 400 pixels in height. Try to keep the focal point of your image in the center. 

Links

If you would like the viewer to be sent directly to the event page on your website, ticketing website or Facebook Event page, enter the link in the “Direct Link” box. Your linked page must include complete details. No generic event pages or homepages allowed.


If you prefer the viewer is shown more details about your event on Vallarta Calendar, do not enter a link in the “Direct Link” box. Instead, include your external link in the “Page Link” box. This will allow a full event page on Vallarta Calendar to be shown. The Vallarta Calendar page will include your external link.

Categories

Select up to three categories for your event. Be sure that all categories chosen are appropriate.

Select event location. If you do not see your location, please include the location (with complete address) in the next “Note to Reviewer” section.
