Artist Spotlight: Ximena Esparza 🎭 🎤 💃
Ximena Esparza has been part of musical theater since she was 11 years old. She is an actress, singer, and dancer. She discovered her love and passion for the arts the moment she first stepped onto a stage during her very first performance in Guadalajara at the age of five with a ballet company.
Ximena’s artistic career officially began with her involvement in the inaugural production at Act2PV Theater, A Chorus Line. After 11 years of experience, she has been cast in nearly every play. She has been a part of productions such as Little Shop of Horrors, Chicago, Avenue Q, The Best of Broadway, Cinderella, and more. Currently, she is in her fifth season playing Sophie Sheridan in Mamma Mia!
Ximena has produced her own shows, including the “Britney Spears: Tribute Concert” for the second year and a cabaret show, Some Like It Hot. In the past year, she has performed with two different and talented bands at Roxy Rockhouse and in Sayulita.
For the new season, Ximena has decided to grow as an artist. She has discovered that singing with a live band is what she enjoys the most! Stay tuned for her new tribute concert: “Stevie Nicks” (featuring, of course, a live band).
Ximena is also finally working on her own original music album.
