The Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, or Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, is a Catholic landmark in Puerto Vallarta, built between 1930 and 1940 on the site of a 1901 chapel. Dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mexico’s patroness and a symbol of faith and empowerment, the church holds English services on Saturdays and bilingual masses on Sundays. Her feast day, December 12, marks her first apparition in 1531 to Juan Diego, establishing Catholicism in Mexico. Celebrations include altars adorned with flowers and candles, evening rosaries, and fireworks, reflecting her enduring cultural and religious significance.


Malecón
